Let me preface this post by saying that I am not a huge fan of contests, BUT...

I entered TheBookFest Fall 2024 contest shortly after the release of 'The Other Road', just to see how it works. 

That being said, I was presented with the following results for my novel, "The Other Road"

Fiction: Wholesome Romance - 1st Place
Fiction: Literary Love Story/Romance - 2nd Place
Fiction: Contemporary Romance - no award

Take it for what it's worth, but it does give me a slight amount of joy and boost in confidence.
